ProGasus Content Management System (CMS)
The Content Management System (CMS) of ProGasus enables you to maintain your own web portal. The web software is placed on the Internet after which you can easily build, create and maintain your own web portal.
The definition of a Content Management System is:

“ A web tool which enables you to create, build and maintain your own web portal by providing you with a non-technical solution with various standard components”
The Content Management System exists from a front office and a back office. The front office is the part your clients can visit. The back office is the administrative part in which you can easily make changes to your web portal.
Available components
In the back office various components, or so called standard tools, are available which enable you to make use of various dynamic and advanced interactive features. Some of the tools in the back office we provide are:
- Content Management System: This is the feature which enable you to change your text and lay out. Technical knowledge is not needed for changes the portal.
- Picture Gallery: The picture gallery allows you to create an online catalogue including pictures. This catalogue can display slideshows and can be divided in separate sections.
- Movie Manager: Making use of movies, slideshows, images and sound can make your portal an attractive portal to your relations. Visualizing your message can add value to the portal.
- Document Management: This component allows you to upload documents in the back office. By uploading these documents you allow your relation to download the documents in the front office. If needed these documents can be accessed in a restricted area.
- Media Manager: In the Media Manager one can upload files and pictures in order to display these in the portal.
- Job line: In case of vacancies these have to be displayed in the web portal. The component Job line allows you to post jobs in the back office. These jobs are displayed in the vacancy section of the front office. By providing the correct contact data in the Job line you streamline the entire work flow of the appointment procedure.
- Web shop: The Web shop can be integrated in the Content Management System. By adding the shop to the portal you create online sales opportunities. These can be used for various activities, both Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer.
- Forms: Web forms are an important part of most of current web portals. Interaction with relations and potential clients through web forms is very common in today’s business environment. Application forms, contact form, help desk forms and inquiry forms are issues which should not be missed in a basic website. With the Form component you can easily create, add and maintain your forms.
- Events: In case of events one has to generate attention for this kind of event. Attention can be created through an event calendar, which can be added in the Content Management System.
- News letter: The News Letter – section is divided in two part. On the one hand one can subscribe to the news letter and on the other hand one can send news letters to the subscribers. By sending news letters one can may generate interest in all kind of various issues.
